About NSBE & the Central Florida Professionals Chapter
The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is one of the largest student-governed organizations in the country. Founded in 1975, NSBE's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.
NSBE membership and programs remain open to all students and professionals, equipping members with technical expertise, leadership skills, and the industry connections that drive economic and technological advancement.
Our Professionals membership represents the continuation of that mission in the workplace and broader community — supporting STEM innovators, achievers, mentors, and servant-leaders after they have earned their degrees.
